The primary aim of the association is to co-ordinate sponsorship; however, you can also help us by your subscription and occasional donations.

• The annual subscription fee is 15 €. This helps cover administrative costs, especially postage.
   
• Sponsors undertake to pay 150 € every six months, in addition to the subscription fee. This donation is given to the beneficiary’s family. The association would like sponsorship to last for as long as possible, ideally until the end of a pupil’s scholarship.
  You may also pay a monthly fee of 25€. (In this case please consult us for information). 
   
• Other one-off donations help us to bring support to families by providing electricity and water supply as well as the management of the clinic and training of nursing staff.

As AFAT-CG is an “association d’intérêt générale” all donations are tax-deductible, in France (60 per cent in 2003 and 2004).

For as long as the political situation in Nepal allows, the association undertakes to send volunteer sponsors to check the use of your money on the spot.
Travel expenses are the volunteers’ responsibility and are not deducted from donations.
