AFAT-CG Support, sponsoring and schooling of Tibetan Chushi Gangdrug children in Nepal

In the Paljorling camp, 10 children are sponsored and 17 are still waiting.

During their last trip, sponsors noted that the families were doing fine and that there were no humanitarian problems of an alarming nature.

However paying the electricity has recently become a source of worry. Until recently families weren’t asked to pay for electricity. Since 2003 a substantial participation has been imposed on them, which they often find impossible to pay.
In 2004 we appealed to association members for donations. The sum received (600 euros) was sent in the beginning of February and has helped pay the camp’s electricity bill.
